Did you know you can save message searches on your BlackBerry, and set a custom hot key to perform the search anytime.

You can use the default saved searches or create your own. Go to the Message List, bring up the menu and select "Search". Set the search criteria you want, and select "Save" from the menu. You'll be taken to another screen where you can specify a name and a hot key.

The following is a list of default saved searches, which you can view from the Message List Menu --> Search --> Recall:

• Alt + I: Incoming - view all received messages
  
• Alt + M: View all MMS messages
  
• Alt + O: Outgoing - view all sent messages
  
• Alt + P: View all Phone Call Logs
  
• Alt + S: View all SMS messages
  
• Alt + V: View all Voice Mail messages
