Google SMS Feature
For those of you with SMS enabled BlackBerry's, Google has a feature called Google SMS. "Google SMS (Short Message Service) enables you to send queries as text messages over your mobile phone or device and easily get precise answers to your questions. No links. No web pages. Just text — and the information you're looking for:"
Add a contact to your address book with Company Name = "Google" and Mobile Number ="46645". Then send an SMS message to Google asking for information.
Some examples of what to send in your message:
- d grok: or "define grok" - Gives you a dictionary definition for the word grok
- Chicago to New York City: Gives you driving directions from Chicago to New York City
- price Apple iPod 40GB: Gives you prices on the Applie iPod (40GB)
- weather Chicago: Gives you weather information for Chicago
- stock RIMM: or just "RIMM" - Gives you the stock price for RIMM (Research In Motion)
